How Can I Help?

Thank you so much for wanting to help people in their fight with
Leukemia and other serious illnesses. There are several ways in
which you can assist them with their struggle.

• Donating money to the Foundation Most of the patients we hear from are unable to
  work and
  urgently need assistance with living and medical expenses to
  stay alive. Also, as a part of the process to maximize opportunities
  for these patients, we help in funding bone marrow drives to
  continually build the donor database. To donate money to this

• Volunteering Your TimeThe Eric Drew Foundation is constantly holding
  fundraisers, dinners, blood drives and other fun functions to
  help fight leukemia and other deadly diseases. Volunteering your
  time and ideas toward these functions is greatly appreciated,
  and you are guaranteed to meet lots of great people.

1. Getting Registered In The National Marrow Donor Program

The only way that most Leukemia patients can survive is by having a bone narrow
transplant. Having your tissue type listed in the National
Marrow Donor Program Database is something everyone should do. You could
save a life by a simple blood or bone marrow donation. To have your blood typed
to be added to this database please make arrangements to visit a blood bank in
your area.You can help by having your blood typed at City
of Hope National Medical Center’s national marrow program.Or, if you are a resident in the Northern California area, Stanford University
