I raced dirtbikes since I was 3, professionally at 16. Concentrating on my career I ended up injured at 19 and am incomplete. Concentrating for months while in the hospital with my family, and finally moved my toes after 5 months. I have worked hard: standing frame, working out, lifting weights, etc. Then I started moving my legs (very little bit), and some sensation. As months went by, I started to feel tired and it was like the same thing everyday, like bootcamp. All the pain and suffering is too much to go through. I am 26 years old now and am still trying to get walking again, but not as much as I used to when I was 19. I still think positive and am back into training and swimming, it's the best thing to do. I have gained a bit of weight but am working on losing some pounds. I still think of myself as a professional athlete and now understand that I have to train to walk again. I used to run 5 miles everyday and miss it. "Never Give Up" is my motto! I will always think positive and keep up the faith to GO FORWARD!
